A massive retail display created out of individually controllable computer fans.
Working with Hovercraft Studios Hepp helped create a unique product display at Nike’s flagship ‘House of Innovation’ store in New York City.
Hepp was the sole developer in programming, mapping, and creating animation content for hundreds of PC fans as a massive product display backdrop behind the new Air Max shoes. The fan wall display was so successful that it stayed installed in the flagship for several months.
Hepp also wrote custom photobooth software featuring a high-framerate camera timed alongside a high powered air cannon which blasted participants while capturing their response.
